Charisma Carpenter

 Charisma Carpenter (born July 23 1970) is an American actress from the United States. She was a part of Cordelia Chase in Buffy the Vampire's supernatural drama (1997-1999) in addition to its spin-off series Angel (1999-04). She also appeared in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012 strong>

 

 

  Carpenter was the daughter of Christine Carpenter (a bird sanctuary worker, as well as Don Carpenter (a salesman) She was born in Las Vegas. Carpenter is from Spanish, French, and German heritage (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter attended the Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas.[6She was part of a song and dance troupe that was active in Las Vegas Valley at nine years old.

 

 

  Carpenter Her family moved from Rosarito Beach, Baja California to Mexico at the age of 15 years old. After that, they relocated to San Diego to California. Carpenter returned to San Diego and worked in the video store as an aerobics teacher, as well property management. In 1991, she was a cheerleader with the San Diego Chargers. In 1992, she moved from San Diego to Los Angeles.

 

 

  Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex-police officer from San Diego and serial rapist who attacked her and two male acquaintances while she was swimming in San Diego in the year 1991. He attempted to subdue them using a gunpoint. During the fight that ensued, her two friends and Hubbard were killed, forcing him to flee the area but both were able to escape the assault. Hubbard was arrested and was convicted, then sentenced to 56 years in prison for a string of sexual assaults. Carpenter used Hubbard's flashlight to the beach that he had left at the scene, and the flashlight ended up being a key piece of evidence used against him.

Carpenter stated that she doesn't think of herself as a sex icon in spite of this. Carpenter was featured on the cover of Playboy magazine's June issue in 2004. She also appeared in a ten-page naked photo. When she was asked by People magazine in 2005 whether she would ever pose for Playboy once more, she answered, "I don't know. Playboy was a decision I made with a specific reason. Playboy was not only a wise financial move but also an excellent match for my present situation. My son was born and I'd gained 50 pounds through pregnancy. I was looking to return to my former self. I wanted to feel desirable and attractive. I thought: "What if you went full throttle?"
